أطلقت مؤسسة التدريب المهني، بالتعاون مع وزارة التنمية الاجتماعية، دورة تدريبية متخصصة في مجال التدبير الفندقي، وذلك في معهد تدريب مهني البترا، بمشاركة عشرة من الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة والمنتفعين من خدمات الوزارة.

وتهدف الدورة، التي تمتد لـ 100 ساعة تدريبية، إلى تطوير المهارات المهنية للمشاركين وتأهيلهم لسوق العمل في قطاع الضيافة، من خلال برنامج تدريبي شامل يغطي عدة محاور، أبرزها: التعرف على أخلاقيات مهنة التدبير الفندقي، والهيكل التنظيمي لقسم التدبير الفندقي، إضافة إلى معايير الأمن والسلامة، ومهارات الحياة، واللغة الإنجليزية العامة والمتخصصة ذات الصلة بالمجال، الذي يشهد نمواً متزايداً في منطقة البترا.

ويأتي تنفيذ هذه الدورة في إطار حرص مؤسسة التدريب المهني على تعزيز الشراكة مع المؤسسات الوطنية ذات العلاقة، وتقديم برامج تدريبية نوعية تستهدف تمكين الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، ترجمةً للتوجيهات الملكية السامية الداعية إلى دعم هذه الفئة ودمجها في المجتمع.

Vocational Training Institute in Petra Launches Specialized Hotel Management Course for Persons with Disabilities

The Vocational Training Corporation (VTC), in partnership with the Ministry of Social Development, has inaugurated a specialized hotel management training course at the Petra Vocational Training Institute. The program involves ten participants with disabilities who are beneficiaries of the Ministry's support services.

The 100-hour course is designed to equip trainees with professional skills tailored to the hospitality sector, a rapidly growing industry in the Petra region. The curriculum covers essential topics such as hotel management ethics, departmental organizational structures, safety and security protocols, life skills development, and general as well as industry-specific English language training. 

This initiative underscores the VTC's commitment to fostering strategic collaborations with national institutions and delivering high-impact vocational programs. It also reflects the implementation of the Royal vision to promote the empowerment and social integration of persons with disabilities
