Successful German-Jordanian Partnership in Recruiting Skilled Workers

Frank Teschner, CEO of Kreishandwerkerschaft Steinfurt Warendorf, praised the successful recruitment of skilled Jordanian workers to Germany through the "PAM – Jordan" project. He highlighted the importance of direct engagement with companies, personal interviews, and ongoing support throughout the integration process.

He referred to the experiences of two Jordanian trainees, Mohammad and Malek — with a report on Mohammad already published, and a WDR (German public broadcaster) feature on Malek coming soon. These cases were presented as positive examples of well-managed skilled migration.

Teschner emphasized the strong collaboration with GIZ Jordan, the Vocational Training Corporation, and ZDH, describing it as a practical model serving the strategic goals of both Jordan and Germany. He also expressed interest in establishing a new partnership in Ibbenbüren to attract more skilled workers from Jordan.
