في إطار جهودها لتمكين المرأة وتعزيز مهاراتها، أختتمت الدورة التأسيسية في الخياطة الصناعية التي أقيمت في معهد تدريب مهني عجلون وبالتعاون مع جمعية سما الروسان الخيرية.
وتهدف الدورة إلى تمكين المتدربات من مهارات الخياطة الصناعية، وصقل مهاراتهن في مجال تصميم وصناعة الملابس، حيث اشتملت الدورة على محاضرات نظرية وتطبيقية تضمنت أساسيات الخياطة وأنواع الأقمشة واستخدام ماكينات الخياطة.
وتساهم هذه الدورات في تمكين المرأة وتعزيز مهاراتها في مجال الخياطة الصناعية، مما يساعد في تمكينها اقتصاديا وزيادة فرص العمل المتاحة أمامها، حيث تحرص مؤسسة التدريب المهني بالتعاون مع مختلف الجهات بالقطاع العام والخاص في تنظيم مثل هذه الدورات التي تُسهم في تنمية مهارات الشباب والشابات وصقل مواهبهم في مختلف المجالات.
ويذكر أن معهد تدريب مهني عجلون الذي تأسس عام 2004 يعمل على خدمة شباب وشابات أبناء المحافظة في عدة مجالات ، حيث تبلغ طاقته الإستيعابية 225 متدربا ومتدربة، ضمن مجموعة من التخصصات المهنية منها كهروميكانيك مركبات (الهايبرد)، حاضنة أطفال، حداد المنيوم، التكييف والتبريد، الحلويات والمعجنات، مهارات الفنادق، حلاق رجالي، حلاق نساء، خياطة صناعية، نجار أثاث، حداد فاصون، كهرباء مركبات، مدخل بيانات، ميكانيك مركبات، الكهرباء العامة.
