نفذت وحدة تشغيل الخريجين في مؤسسة التدريب المهني، وبالتعاون مع الخدمة الجامعية العالمية في كندا (WUSC)، ورشة عمل متخصصة هدفت إلى تمكين رائدات الأعمال من خريجات مؤسسة التدريب المهني ومالكات الحضانات المنزلية، وربطهن مع مزوّدي خدمات تطوير الأعمال، إلى جانب شركاء المشروع، وذلك ضمن الجهود الرامية إلى تعزيز فرص الدعم المالي وغير المالي مستقبلًا.
وركّزت الورشة على فتح آفاق التوظيف، وبناء القدرات من خلال التدريبات المتخصصة، والتدريب أثناء العمل، إضافة إلى الاستفادة من خدمات تطوير الأعمال، بما يسهم في دعم استدامة المشاريع الريادية ونموّها.
وشهدت الورشة حضور معالي وزير الشباب الدكتور رائد العدوان، الذي أشاد بالجهود المبذولة لتمكين المرأة اقتصاديًا ومهنيًا، مؤكدًا أن "تمكين المرأة لا يقتصر على دعم المشاريع فقط، بل هو استثمار حقيقي ويجب أن يكون لكل امرأة فرصة لتطوير مهاراتها وتحويل أفكارها إلى مشاريع ناجحة تُسهم في الاقتصاد الوطني."

وشهدت الورشة تشبيكًا مع ستة مزوّدي خدمات تطوير أعمال، حيث أتاح اللقاء تبادلًا مثمرًا للفرص وبناء روابط عملية بين المشاركات والجهات الداعمة. كما تضمّن البرنامج عرضًا قدمه مركز تطوير الأعمال (BDC)، استعرض خلاله برامجه الوطنية في مجالات ريادة الأعمال، والتشغيل، وتمكين النساء والشباب، إضافة إلى أثره الواسع في مختلف محافظات المملكة.

وتؤكد مؤسسة التدريب المهني أن تمكين الإناث يُعدّ أحد المحاور الرئيسة في استراتيجيتها، والتي تأتي انسجامًا مع رؤية التحديث الاقتصادي للمرحلة القادمة 2026–2029 من خلال مواءمة مخرجات التدريب المهني مع متطلبات سوق العمل المحلي والإقليمي، وتوفير برامج تدريبية نوعية، وتهيئة بيئة تدريبية داعمة، وتعزيز فرص التشبيك مع سوق العمل ومزوّدي الخدمات، بما يسهم في رفع نسب مشاركة المرأة اقتصاديًا وتحويل المهارات المكتسبة إلى مشاريع إنتاجية مستدامة.

وتأتي هذه الورشة  في إطار الشراكة مع الخدمة الجامعية العالمية في كندا، وحرص مؤسسة التدريب المهني على تعزيز منظومة التشبيك وبناء شراكات فاعلة، تسهم في تمكين رائدات الأعمال، وتوسيع نطاق الاستفادة من الخدمات الداعمة، بما يدعم نمو المشاريع وتوسّعها على أسس مستدامة.

Vocational Training Corporation Conducts Workshop to Empower Women Entrepreneurs and Connect Them with Business Development Services

The Vocational Training Corporation (VTC), through its Graduate Employment Unit and in collaboration with the World University Service of Canada (WUSC), conducted a specialized workshop aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs among VTC graduates and owners of home-based nurseries, linking them with Business Development Service (BDS) providers, alongside project partners. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to enhance future financial and non-financial support opportunities.
The workshop focused on opening employment pathways, building capacities through specialized trainings and on-the-job training, as well as benefiting from business development services, contributing to the sustainability and growth of entrepreneurial projects.
The workshop was attended by His Excellency Minister of Youth Dr. Raed Al-Adwan, who praised the efforts to empower women economically and professionally, stating that: "Women empowerment is not limited to supporting projects only; it is a real investment, and every woman should have the opportunity to develop her skills and turn her ideas into successful projects that contribute to the national economy."
The event engaged six BDS providers and facilitated a productive exchange of opportunities and the establishment of practical linkages between participants and supporting entities. The program also included a presentation by the Business Development Center (BDC), highlighting its national programs in entrepreneurship, employment, and women and youth empowerment, along with its broad impact across Jordan’s governorates.
VTC emphasizes that women empowerment is a central pillar of its strategy, aligned with the upcoming Economic Modernization Vision 2026–2029. This includes aligning vocational training outputs with local and regional labor market needs, providing specialized training programs, creating a supportive learning environment, and enhancing networking opportunities with the labor market and service providers, helping women translate acquired skills into sustainable projects.
This activity is part of the partnership with the World University Service of Canada (WUSC), reflecting VTC’s commitment to strengthening networking systems and building effective partnerships that support women entrepreneurs and expand access to supportive services, ultimately fostering business growth and sustainability.
