حصلت مؤسسة التدريب المهني على اعتماد برنامجها في مجال الصحة والسلامة والبيئة من قِبل منظمة الصحة والسلامة البريطانية (IOSH)   والذي يعد  أكبر مؤسسة عالمية متخصصة في الصحة والسلامة المهنية.

وقال مدير البرنامج المهندس إبراهيم الطراونة إن المؤسسة من أوائل المؤسسات التي تطرح هذا البرنامج، لافتا إلى أن المشاركين في البرنامج يستفيدون من حصولهم على مؤهل معترف به عالميا, .وأضاف إنّ المؤسّسة ومن خلال معاهد السلامة والصحة المهنية، توفر خدمات تدريب متقدمة تتوافق مع التكنولوجيا الحديثة، والمعايير العالمية للتدريب، مؤكدا استعداد المؤسسة للتعاون مع الجهات المحلية والدولية لعقد دورات رفع الكفاءة بالمجالات التي تقدمها.

  ويعتبر معهد السلامة والصحة المهنية أحد معاهد مؤسسة التدريب المهني والتي تعنى بتقديم خدمات التدريب وتنظيم سوق العمل المحلي ورفده بالأيدي العاملة والمؤهلة ويعد المعهد أهم روافد سوق العمل بالأيدي العاملة المدربة و المؤهلة تأهيلا علمياً و عملياً بمهارات تلبي متطلبات سوق العمل المحلي، حيث يقوم المعهد بالتدريب على برنامج اخصائي سلامة و صحة مهنية بالإضافة الى فني السلامة والصحة المهنية ويعمل على رفع كفاءة العاملين في قطاع السلامة والصحة المهنية وتقديم خدمات الاستشارات في المجال و يمتلك المعهد العديد من الاتفاقيات مع القطاع الخاص وذلك لتعزيز مفهوم التشاركية في التدريب لتحقيق اعلى نسب تشغيل في قطاع السلامة والصحة المهنية مشيرا إلى دعم الوكالة اليابانية للتعاون الدولي لتطوير معاهد السلامة في ماركا وإربد والعقبة وتزويدها بالتكنولوجيا الحديثة في هذا المجال.

ويذكر أن منظمة "آيوش" التي تأسست عام 1945، وهي مؤسسة خيرية مسجلة تحت المنظمات الدولية غير الحكومية ومعتمدة في مجال تأهيل المعنيين بالصحة والسلامة المهنية، وتضم أكثر من 44 ألف عضو من 120 بلداً,كما و تعد ايوش أكبر عضو في العالم في مجال الصحة والسلامة وهي أيضا الهيئة الوحيدة المعتمدة لمهنيي الصحة والسلامة، ورائد عالمي في التدريب على الصحة والسلامة، مع ما يقرب من 160،000 يأخذ دوراتهم كل عام، وتم تصميم هذه الدورة التدريبية المكثفة لمدة 3 أيام لكل شخص ملزم بأي مسؤولية عن إدارة الصحة والسلامة التي تتطلب معرفة واسعة النطاق في الصحة والسلامة ولديها الحاجة إلى تطوير أنظمة عمل آمنة، كما إنه مخصص للأفراد غير المتخصصين في مجال الصحة والسلامة الذين يتعين عليهم إدارة المخاطر والموارد، والمديرون والمشرفون وأي فرد لديه مسؤوليات في مجال الصحة والسلامة في أي قطاع وأي مؤسسة، وتم تصميمه لجعل المدراء يسرعون في اتخاذ الإجراءات العملية التي يحتاجون إلى اتخاذها للتعامل مع الصحة والسلامة في فرقهم .
