استكمالا للإتفاقية الموقعة بين مؤسسة التدريب المهني ووزارة التربية والتعليم والتعليم العالي استقبلت مؤسسة التدريب المهني ممثلة بمديرها العام الدكتور احمد الغرايبه وفدًا من وزارة التربية والتعليم برئاسة الأمين العام للشؤون التعليمية المهنية والتقنية، الدكتور محمد صبحي غيث، لبحث مسارات تطوير التعليم المهني والتقني، بما في ذلك دراسة تحويل اربعة معاهد تدريب مهني إلى مدارس مهنية.
وفي إطار الشراكة بين مؤسسةالتدريب المهني ووزارة التربية والتعليم والتعليم العالي، تقدم المؤسسة خدمات تعليمية للطلاب الملتحقين ببرنامج " شهادة التعليم المهني والتقني البريطانية" من خلال معاهدها المنتشرة في محافظات المملكة، وقد أسهم الإقبال الكبير من الطلاب في تمكين الوزارة من تحويل أربعة مواقع جديدة تابعة للمؤسسة من معاهد تدريب إلى مدارس تعليم مهني متميزة، نظرًا للطلب المتزايد على التعليم المهني في تلك المناطق.
وفي المقابل، مكنت الوزارة المؤسسة من تحويل أحد المدارس التابعة لها إلى معهد تدريب متميز، كما تم تشكيل فريقين من الطرفين، رئيسي وفني، يجتمعان أسبوعيًا لتطوير البرامج المهنية ومواءمتها مع احتياجات سوق العمل.
ويأتي هذا اللقاء في إطار مستهدفات مؤسسة التدريب المهني ضمن برنامج رؤية التحديث الاقتصادي، والذي يركّز على تطوير التدريب المهني ومواءمة احتياجات سوق العمل ورفع نسبة كفاءة المشغلين في القطاعات الواعدة. إذ تشكل برامج التدريب المهني إحدى الأدوات الرئيسية لتحقيق هذه المستهدفات والتي تشكل محورا أساسيا لبناء مواءمة البرامج مع احتياجات سوق العمل، وتوسيع الطاقة الاستيعابية للمؤسسة، وإدخال تخصصات تقنية جديدة تدعم الاقتصاد الرقمي والصناعات المتقدمة، وتعزيز الشراكات مع القطاع الخاص لضمان فرص تدريب وتشغيل مباشرة.
وبذلك تواصل المؤسسة دورها كمحرك أساسي لتمكين الشباب، ورافعة وطنية تدعم مستهدفات التحديث الاقتصادي عبر إعداد قوة عاملة مدرّبة قادرة على مواكبة التحولات الاقتصادية محليًا وإقليميًا.
Vocational Training Corporation and Ministry of Education Strengthen Partnership to Develop Vocational and Technical Education
Following up on the agreement signed between the Vocational Training Corporation (VTC) and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the Corporation, represented by its Director General, Dr. Ahmad Al-Gharaibeh, received a delegation from the Ministry, headed by the Secretary-General for Vocational and Technical Education, Dr. Mohammad Subhi Gheeth, to discuss pathways for developing vocational and technical education, including the study of converting four vocational training institutes into vocational schools.
Within the framework of the partnership between the VTC and the Ministry, the Corporation provides educational services to students enrolled in the “British Vocational and Technical Education Certificate” program through its institutes across the Kingdom’s governorates. The high student enrollment enabled the Ministry to convert four new VTC sites from training institutes into distinguished vocational schools, reflecting the growing demand for vocational education in these areas.
Conversely, the Ministry facilitated the conversion of one of its schools into a distinguished vocational training institute. Additionally, two teams—executive and technical—were formed by both parties to meet weekly to develop vocational programs and align them with labor market needs.
This meeting aligns with the VTC’s objectives under the Economic Modernization Vision program, which focuses on developing vocational training, aligning programs with labor market needs, and enhancing workforce efficiency in promising sectors. Vocational training programs constitute a primary tool to achieve these objectives, forming a key pillar for aligning programs with labor market demands, expanding the Corporation’s capacity, introducing new technical specializations that support the digital economy and advanced industries, and strengthening partnerships with the private sector to ensure direct training and employment opportunities.
Through these efforts, the Corporation continues to play a central role in empowering youth and acts as a national lever supporting the objectives of economic modernization by preparing a skilled workforce capable of keeping pace with economic transformations locally and regionally.
