In line with the Economic Modernization Vision, the Vocational Training Corporation (VTC) has launched a specialized vocational entrepreneurship program. This initiative aims to empower Jordanian youth to start their own businesses, contribute to economic growth, and address unemployment and poverty challenges.
Dr. Ahmad Al-Gharaibeh, Director General of VTC, stated that the launch of this program is a direct response to the directives of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II during his visit to the Madaba Center of Excellence for Culinary Arts, where he emphasized the importance of creating non-traditional job opportunities for young people.
The program has two tracks: one targeting college and university graduates, and the other targeting current trainees at VTC. It provides essential skills for the job market and promotes entrepreneurship through partnerships with various stakeholders.
Nancy Al-Momani, Director of WUSC in Jordan, highlighted that the program plays a crucial role in empowering women to establish sustainable businesses in the early childhood care sector.
VTC maintains extensive partnerships with public and private institutions to support entrepreneurship and workforce development.
