As part of the activities of the BUCRA project, which aims to reduce the burden of care and enhance women's economic empowerment in Jordan, WUSC Jordan, in partnership with the Vocational Training Corporation, organized a specialized three-day training workshop on "Business Development and Proposal Writing" from June 22 to 24 at the Hilton Hotel in Amman.
The workshop targeted 18 participants from VTC staff representing various governorates across the Kingdom. It aimed to strengthen their capacities in entrepreneurship, engagement with donors, and proposal development, including the creation of concept notes. The training focused on transforming ideas into structured proposals, aligning them with donor priorities in Jordan, and integrating elements such as sustainability, project management, budgeting, and financing strategies. It also emphasized gender mainstreaming in business development, all tailored specifically to the early childhood care and development (ECCD) sector. The training was led by Business Development and Community Change Consultant, Mr. Hudhaifa Al-Tamimi.
This initiative reflects WUSC’s commitment to empowering women entrepreneurs in the ECCD sector and connecting them with sustainable business development services in collaboration with the Vocational Training Corporation, contributing to the development of a more inclusive care economy in Jordan.
