The Minister of Labor, Dr. Khalid Al-Bakar, visited the Jordanian Academy for Tourism and Hospitality and the Distinguished Bakery Institute to review their training programs. The academy, known for its specialized training in tourism, hospitality, and bakery, achieves an 85% graduate employment rate and collaborates with 170 partners across Jordan. Notable initiatives include projects with the Jordanian Ministry of Tourism, the German GIZ program, and partnerships to enhance vocational training. Dr. Ahmed Ghraibeh, Director-General of the Vocational Training Corporation, highlighted the academy’s role in building competencies and its recent accreditation by the ETF for meeting excellence standards. The bakery institute, specializing in global bakery techniques and food safety, is part of the German PAM project and has trained participants in German language and advanced bakery skills.
