In line with the Economic Modernization Vision (2025-2028), the Vocational Training Corporation discussed potential cooperation with a Canadian delegation representing the public sector, private sector, and civil society organizations, with the participation of Jadara University and WUSC – Jordan Office. The meeting focused on vocational training programs aligned with labor market needs, covering fields such as pharmaceuticals, electric and hybrid car maintenance, tourism, early childhood care, renewable energy, and advanced technology.
VTC Director General, Dr. Amad Al-Ghraibah, emphasized enhancing Jordan's workforce competitiveness through Canadian-standard training.
Discussions covered pharmacy, nursing, digital skills, and renewable energy, with Dr. Ramadan Shdeifat of Jadara University highlighting its Pharmacy program.
Sarah Wiseman from the Shapiro Foundation praised Jordan's training efforts, noting Canada's skilled labor shortage. The meeting concluded with recommendations for curriculum exchange, visits, and facilitating Jordanian employment in Canada, particularly in healthcare and vocational fields.
