Launch of Vocational Awareness Sessions in Germany

Vocational awareness sessions for students in the preparatory program to transition to Germany for dual vocational training in skilled trades have begun. This initiative is part of the Partnership for Development Oriented Labor Migration (PAM) project by German International Cooperation (GIZ), funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), in collaboration with the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts (ZDH) and the Vocational Training Corporation .

 

During these sessions, held online, students learned about the trades and requirements. They have completed the program’s entry requirements, passed A1 German language level, and begun A2 courses. The participants are expected to join the training program in Germany next August.
